Accounting does not need to be mysterious.
Harbor Trust was built around a simple idea. You should know who is working on your return. You should know what it is going to cost. And if something in the books needs fixing before we can prepare an accurate return, you should hear about it before the work and before the bill.

How working together goes
- Thirty-minute conversation. Tell us what is going on. If you do not need a CPA, we'll say so.
- Scope and price in writing. You know what we are doing and what it costs before work starts.
- One preparer, start to finish. The person asking the questions remains accountable for the work.
- A conversation after filing. Our relationship does not end when the return is filed. We explain what the return showed and what may be worth changing before next year.
Returns are filed electronically and signed electronically. Most clients never come into an office, and the ones who prefer to, do.
